This Tamil Font Looks Good in eBooks
It's not Latha font
If you want to have a Tamil eBook published with a beautiful font appeal, I have a quick tip for you today.
If you are into writing Tamil eBooks, don’t choose Latha font.
Don’t get me wrong. Latha font is good and does the job. It works well when we publish eBooks written using Latha font on Amazon KDP.
However, it looks ‘rough’, IMHO.
Alternatively, I prefer another font which looks ‘decent and professional’, again IMHO.
The name of the font I like to use to write eBooks in Tamil is ‘Vijaya’.
And the best part?
Vijaya font is free to use and is already available in your computer if you are using Windows 7 or above.
If you are using Mac (Apple computers) then, you can simply Google “download Vijaya font” and install it to use in your Mac.
All said and done, using custom fonts other than these is meaningless because Kindle devices come with their own font system to display eBooks. So, I’d suggest just stick to these ‘known to work well’ fonts. You can thank me later :)
